People are fundamental to TeleSpeak, which David founded and he has delivered training in many parts of the world including North America, South America, Central Europe, Eastern Europe, the Far East, the Middle East, Africa and, of course, the UK – where David is based. The training he delivers most of the time falls into three broad groups:
Technical Training on telephony in general including Asterisk, Elastix, VoIP and traditional interfaces
Technical and User Product Training
Communications Skills Training: public speaking, presentation skills and ‘train the trainer’
Having delivered these kinds of training all around the world, David has been able to build a large amount of international experience and cultural sensibility. Most recently David has authored his own publication called ‘Getting started with Elastix – a beginner’s guide’ as well as contributing to Asterisk-centric books such as ‘Asterisk: the definitive guide’
Mike Matthews BSc (Hons)
Mike has worked in a variety of roles in communications for over 30 years. Mike’s roles have ranged from hardware and software design, Engineering project management, speech recognition systems, to managing cloud based Unified Communications and call handling services. He’s worked in product and management teams for both large and small blue chip organisations.
Mike’s enjoyed engaging with many people on international standards that encourage interoperability including the SIP forum, Directorships on the Enterprise Computer Telephony Forum (ECTF), DPNSS steering committee. Also Mike has liaised with regulatory bodies such as OFCOM representing interests and confirming responsibilities for organisations.
With a passion for helping and taking an innovative perspective, Mike is always keen to use his management team experience to encourage clients to consider options that can alter and improve how they handle their communications. The goal is always to make their organisation stand out as being one providing excellent communication services.
